Flowers were a constant backdrop of Polly’s childhood, and in later years, Polly fell in love with the symbolism of flowers; how they can express emotion and connect with people in a meaningful way. But it was while travelling in Australia (a four-month trip turned into four years) that Polly’s floristry journey really began. Inspired by the modernity of flower arranging in Australia, along with the incredible selection of native flowers with their vibrant colours, Polly quickly realised she could bring her two passions, flowers and theatre, together.

After completing her floral training, Polly carved her path working for a number of world-renowned corporate companies within the floral industry. It was after a four-year stint at McQueens Flowers, crafting large-scale installations for London‘s finest venues, from The Mandarin Oriental, to The Carlton Jumeirah, Claridges and The Shangri-la, that Polly decided to branch out on her own as a freelance floral artist. Polly’s new venture has taken her to some incredible places - from the deepest sewers of The Thames, to Bahrain, where she was commissioned to work as a royal wedding florist.

Playfulness, space and movement are at the heart of Polly’s floral designs. She loves to experiment with negative space, contrasting textures, and colour to evoke conversations and inspire audiences. Polly is passionate and dedicated to raising the awareness of unsung floral artists behind the big floristry brands, and giving clients the confidence to use independent floral artists.

Polly began her creative journey studying Theatre and Performance Art at Goldsmiths University. It was here, studying avant-garde theatre, that Polly developed a keen interest in challenging the status quo through innovation and experimentation. After graduating, Polly set up her own theatre company, performing annually at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as assistant directing plays at The Soho Theatre, London.
